The oldest rally for touring cars, the „Herkomer-Konkurrenz“, was held from 1905 to 1907. It had been initiated by Sir Hubert von Herkomer who was born in Waal near Landsberg amLech. In commemoration of the 100^th anniversary of the 1907 event the City of Landsberg amLech in co-operation with the Bayerische Automobilclub (BAC) in the AVD organises the second Jubilee Herkomer-Konkurrenz from July 26 through 29, 2007. 

This event is published internationally for motor cars in accordance with the FIVA Categories A – C (up to the year of manufacture of 1930).
